To get the most from a solar thermal system a properly dimensioned solar heating systems is a must and offer the best guarantee for satisfactory operation. Precisely knowing a household's hot water consumption is required when planning for a solar thermal system. One should also take into consideration the possibility of energy saving (lower temperatures) or a lower hot water consumption.

High efficient Solar evacuated tub system special designed for northern locations and for limitation of roof space.

Evacuated tube collectors offer the advantage that they work efficiently with high absorber temperatures and with low radiation. Higher temperatures also may be obtained for applications such as hot water heating, steam production, and air conditioning.

Solar Energy Ireland evacuated tube systems are supplied as complete packages or as single component for hot water, hot water & space heating and pool heating.

The above systems on this page are calculated to supply 60% of the domestic hot water per person/day ( 40 litres at 45 ºC) and 20% energy for *space heating a low temperature heating systems like under floor, wall heating for 120 m² in a low energy building (42kWh/qm/year).

SOLAR ENERGY IRELAND can run a computerized yearly simulation on our systems and on any *other solar thermal system taking into account the exact location, condition at the installation site, system data and weather recordings from the last 20 years will give information of the energy yield to be produced by the solar thermal system with an accuracy ± 10%. (*you need to supply the collectors and system data).
