How does it work?

The combination system Heat-pump and Solar-storage tank use the existing heat in the room where the unit is installed ie. boiler room, garage or basement to heat the domestic hot water or over the ventilation system of the house whereby the used warm air is being passed through the heat-pump. 75% of the energy for heating the water is free and 25% comes from the electricity supplied to run the heat-pump.

The integrated solar storage tank consist of:

	Special-enamel tank made from steel plate 37-2
	Working pressure 6 bar (tested to 12 bar)
	Volume 300 litres
	Solar-heat exchanger 1,3 m² bottom
	Supplementary heat- heat exchanger 0,8m² top
	Pre fitted anode against corrosion
	High density of 50 mm FCKW-free PUR insulation
	Insulating cover 10 mm
	Pre fitted electric heating element as back up 1500 W
	Wight: 160 kg

Application:

You do not need a solar system or boiler with this tank to get your domestic hot water, the heat-pump can do it all.
There are 7 models to choose from and depending on model, you can use a boiler (Oil, Gas or Solid fuel) to heat the water. The same goes without saying that if you have a solar system can be used with the tank or at a later stage could add a solar water heating system to it. No problem.

This 2 in 1 combination is used where warm water is needed starting with the models WP 5018 E for the small households with 2 people, holiday homes, small workshops.

The models WP 5030 are used for homes with up to 10 hot water outlets and cover the need for domestic hot water for up to 7people, they are also used for commercial applications ie. hairdressers, b&b, guesthouses, supermarkets, butchers and hotels with up to 10 rooms.
